Pool Hall:

Our primary function is as a public pool hall. We have 8 full-size pool tables, and getting new equipment soon!

Want to learn how to play? Sign up for the billiards classes offered through the UO. Or ask any of the employees who are always eager to help. If you're a frequent player, ask about buying a pool account which will save you money.

Campus Cash:

Your UO ID Card can be used as a debit card for purchases on campus. The Break accepts UO Campus Cash and we can also make deposits to your Campus Cash account.

Please note: we only accept cash and UO Campus Cash. We do not accept credit cards.

New Study Space for Students:

Come into The Break and use our new Study Room. This space is authorized for currently enrolled UO students. Come use this space as a quiet area to study and spend time doing homework. A great place to "Take a Break"

10am-2pm Friday

11am-Midnight Saturday

Lost & Found:

Lost something? Give it a week or two, come to us, and we might have it. We are the lost and found for the entire campus.

Lockers:

Wouldn't it be convenient to have a secure place to store your things on campus? We've got just the thing. You can rent them out by the term or the entire year and it's only $4 a term.

TV:

Got some time to kill in between classes? Need something bigger then that small screen in your dorm room? Come watch TV at the Break. We got a nice flat screen HD TV. It's first come, first serve, and we've always got the important games on.

Board Games:

These are FREE to check out! We have over a dozen different games from chess to RISK. Come on in and check out the entire list.

Relax:

Our most important goal is to provide students with a place to relax and be comfortable. Come on in!

Maggie: My name is Maggie and I am a junior studying public relations and advertising. I am a charismatic life-liver, I thrive when I am busy, I am a dancer, and I love being a duck!

Raymond: My name is, not important. What is important is what I can do for you. I'm the president of the Billiards Club and the Billiards Coordinator/Tournament Director here at the Break. I think it's fair to say I like pool. I enjoy teaching new learners of the game as well as being challenged by seasoned players. I also have the interesting side hobbies of being a pilot, an avid remote control airplane/helicopter flier, playing the piano and (you'll love this one) I'm a mathematician. If you'd like a good conversation, have any similar hobbies or want a few pool pointers, stop on in and meet me. It'd be my pleasure.

Robyn: My name is Robyn and I am a sophomore here at U of O! My major is Psychology and my minor is Business Administration. I love sports; my favorite teams are the Blazers, New York Yankees, and the Mariners! I also love being out doors, the sun can put me in a really good mood. My favorite activity is just being with my friends and having a good time. I'm not that good at Pool but I'm always up for a challenge so come play me!
